U.S. sneakers blog, Nice Kicks has collaborated with New Balance on a 1600 NB “Grand Anse.” This special version has drawn its inspiration from the beautiful beaches of Grand Anse on the island of Grenada in the Caribbean. Matt Halfhill, founder of Nice Kicks, spent his childhood on the island and wanted to recreate by a predominantly blue mesh and nubuck, the Caribbean beach paradise, contrasting with gray leather. Further details are inspired by the sea board as pebbles and gravel found on the tongue and speckled laces. The whole rests on an ABZORB white sole and blue outsole.
