Graduated from Bard College (New York) in 2010, the young photographer Louis Heilbronn realized his first exhibition at the Galerie Polaris in Paris from January 12 to February 23, 2013. Photographic works of Louis Heilbronn are reminiscent of the plasticity of Renaissance painters. His visual language is closer to the masters of this period as Masaccio and Piero della Francesca. Singular beauty emerges from his photographic work, from the most amazing contrast between the simplicity of photographed objects and subtle light that emanates from their environment. Observer of his own social space, Louis Heilbronn captures “passages” of this environment, and his travels, which we usually shows extracts, pieces of lives, macroscopies a daily trivial. In this space of freedom that is his, he shows us what we can not see. He calls us by sending us these images questions without answer.
