Diadora celebrates the sporting event of the year with an extraordinary project which brings together for the first time the best sneaker shops of the world shops for an exclusive capsule collection inspired by two Diadora models created in 1988 specifically for Diadora athletes who went to Seoul Olympic: IC 4000 and Intrepid. Colors, treatments and new materials will revive two historical models of 7 unique ways, and they will contribute to build an imaginary bridge between Seoul 1988 and Rio 2016. The launch of the sneakers. The launch of the sneakers will be held in two stages. On 6 August there will be the European launch devoted to IC4000 model, with shops: Hanon shops, Patta, 24 Kilates and Solebox, and August 20 will be the US launch of the Intrepid model, which have contributed Kith, Packer and Concept. Each of the shops has brought his personal vision, unique and recognizable in the reinterpretation of Diadora archive silhouettes. Each launch will be accompanied by an apparel pack that includes a jacket, shirt and bag, all again being exclusive interpretations of models of Diadora archive that athletes wore in 1988. All the clothes are available with new materials and colors, while maintaining the same design, cuts and style of the original models. In September all packs will be available exclusively at two temporary stores devoted to “From Seoul To Rio” project in Rome and Tokyo.
