It is in the heart of the Bastille area, in the busy shopping street of Faubourg Saint-Antoine, that G-Star RAW opened a new shop in Paris which will present the collections of the brand and exclusive limited editions such as the G-Star Raw Elwood For the Oceans. The denim brand has moved into a new space of 276m2 over two levels completely designed by the design studio and architecture of G-Star. With a staircase wrought iron railing classified, dating from the eighteenth century, the old style of the building is offset by G-Star’s industrial accents: a place that combines the charm of the old with the contemporary design and industrial influences. G-Star’s commitment to the research of new materials and construction techniques perspiring in the modernist approach of the store. At the entrance the brand carries the consumer in its raw and functional industrial world. With a ground floor dedicated to men and a first floor dedicated to women’s collections, denim is in the heart of the whole store. In addition to the traditional denim wall, on every level a central space highlights denim brand headlights. This scenic presentation of the product allows customers to experiment both materials, denim craftsmanship and apprehend a glance innovative new techniques and cuts. The result is a store concept that focuses on the essentials, a design that helps consumers quickly find his denim.
