Belgian born, New York-based designer, Tim Coppens collaborates with Eastpak this Fall on his range of exclusive backpacks that form part of his much-anticipated Fall/Winter 2016 collection. Like Eastpak, Tim’s eclectic designs take their inspiration straight out of urban youth subcultures. Japanese streetwear staples like technical fabrics, and unexpected colorways and finishes, merge with Western influences and superior craftsmanship. The limited edition backpacks are featured in 4 colorways, featuring high-grade leather, contrasting drawstring lacing, heavy-thread stitching and leather trims. Finished off with mesh and quilted backs, top flap and quick-access main compartment, Coppens’ designs capture the energy of the city. The limited edition Eastpak x Tim Coppens runway collection was unveiled during New York Men’s Fashion Week.
On the launch of this latest collaboration Coppens says, “Working with Eastpak was a natural partnership for us as both brands take heavy influence and inspiration from urban youth culture. I was excited to work with such a respected and iconic urban accessory brand to create a collection of bags that clearly represented both Eastpak and Tim Coppens.“
EastpakTim CoppensStefano Saccone, Vice President of Eastpak says, “Tim Coppens is no stranger to Eastpak and was one of the headline-grabbing designers to take part in the 4th edition of Eastpak Artist Studio. His creation then was a natural continuation of his own menswear collections, merging different worlds with the energy of the city. And this follow-up collaboration is no different.”
