RICOH has announced the launch of a special version of its GR II to celebrate his the 80th anniversary. This GR II features a “Sylver” color with a granule outer coating with a “droplets” effect. The camera has characteristics differentiating the classical model of the GR II: the trigger button and the lens ring are in “Silver” and the lens characteristics are engraved on the ring. The GR logo color on the front is white and the packing box has been specially redesigned for the camera. When the unit is turned off, appears on the screen a stylized image of the GR concept. The kit includes a black leather case dedicated to the GR II, designed for quick use of the device. Only 3200 of the Silver Edition GR II cameras will be available worldwide from March 18.
