New Era brand will launch a first exclusive line of hats created in Japan. Based on the highly respected position of Japan at the forefront of urban fashion, this collection of seven models includes three most popular models of New Era: the 59Fifty fitted cap and adjustable cap 9TWENTY with flexible cap and leather buckle closure. On traditional inspiration, the 59Fifty three models come here in tonal colors (red, blue and black dark navy) and have all the embossed logo of the New York Highlanders, American baseball team better known under the name “Yankees” from 1913. The second model, the 9TWENTY, abandons the traditional length visor in favor of a shorter version and contains the name embroidered teams (Chicago White Sox and Brooklyn Dodgers) on the front panel, in a style that evokes the 60s and 70s New Era collections. This collection is available now exclusively at colette in Paris, in New Era shops and online. The launch of a second Japanese line is scheduled for summer 2016.
