ALI LAMUI is a community project on the island of Lamu, Kenya. The collection of bags by ALI LAMU is shaped by the sea, the sun and the wind … The bags are made from cotton sails of the dhows (sailing boat) that belonged to the Kenyan fishermen. Sewn and painted by hand, bags are unique and original. 8 themes are declined in a variety of colors. The bags have a YKK zipper, aluminum eyelets, inside pocket, a waterproof lining, handles made with recycled boat rope and a recycled aluminum logo. In addition to various bags models of bags, ALI LAMU also proposes pouches made with the same materials. Available in a selection shops around the world.
