Following the attacks in Paris, November 13th, graffiti artists wanted to honor the victims. The street artists were mobilized around the hashtag #SprayForParis launched by the French artist Goin on Instagram and on Twitter. The first were the collective of graffiti artists Grim Team who wrote the “Fluctuat nec mergitur”, the motto of Paris, on a giant fresco at Republic Square.
