Wood Wood collaborates with Reebok Classic to create a capsule collection inspired by British street culture. The collection consists of a range of iconic sportswear silhouettes updated with Wood Wood’s sophisticated streetwear aesthetic. The capsule collection pre-release at Wood Wood stores November 14th before the global launch at selected retailers worldwide November 28th 2015. With a starting point in the 90’s, a time when British street culture’s logo infatuation and preoccupation with sportswear peaked, they have reworked a range of classic sportswear styles with technical detailing and fabrics, taking the collection in a contemporary direction. Taking inspiration from the history of Reebok Classic branding we have combined heritage Reebok visuals with elements from Wood Wood’s ever growing graphic archive, resulting in a fusion of imagery in true representation of both brands. The collection features bold recognizable prints throughout. Pieces include a premium black tracksuit with white prints and technical zippers, black sweatshirt with large chest logo alongside the stand-out logo printed T-shirts. The padded navy hooded jacket features eye-catching tonal prints covering the back and sleeves whereas the versatility of the reversible bucket hat lets the wearer decide whether it should be worn all-over printed or with a more subtle plain look In the mix is also a premium navy polo shirt featuring front zip closure and tonal prints. Finishing off the collection is the ‘Reebok Ventilator Supreme’ in a greyscale colour palette. Incorporating various technical materials with emphasis on detailing, the sneaker features muted grey tones that are contrasted with bold black overlays and the Reebok brand name is printed in bright white along the track lines.
