adidas Consortium celebrates its 10th anniversary with a limited edition Superstar 80v dubbed the “Metropolis”. Derived from the classic Superstar the monochromatic shade of gray of the Metropolis reflects a gross concept, maintaining contemporary aesthetics on its urban origins. The choice of a very soft suede for the Metropolis rod so saissante contrast with the concrete streets. What is surprising with this Superstar is that even the most iconic part of the shoe – the hull – is made withe suede. Aside from the subtle contrast stitching, stem, the sole and the laces adopt a uniform color. The Consortium logo embossed in silver on the tabs, the silver inner soles and the numbers of the series visible on each heel are the only visible markers of this limited edition. Edited in 1000 pieces, the adidas Consortium Superstar 80V Metropolis will be available from November 13 in the adidas concept store: No42 Paris, No74 Berlin and selected Consortium retailers as END.
