The first pair of shoes, created by Dr. Martens, to get out manufacturing lines will be the “1.4.60” whose name is the manufacturing date – 1st April 1960. Recognizable by its AirWair grooved sole and bright yellow stitching around the shoe, the 1460 boot is the silhouette of the best-known brand in the world that continues to be referenced in pop and youth culture today. For this Fall, Supreme worked with Dr. Martens to release a new custom version of the 4-Eye shoe and the 6-Eye boot. Made exclusively for Supreme, the shoe and boot come in a vintage smooth leather upper. The shoe is offered in three colorways – burgundy, black and blue and the boot in two colorways – burgundy and black. This Supreme x Dr. Martens collection is available now at Supreme stores in NY, LA, London and online, followed by a September 5 drop at its Japan locations.
