A collaboration between Japanese master designer Yohji Yamamoto and Germany’s sportswear legends adidas, Y-3 combines an innovative approach to materials with a reinvention of athletic staples in order to create a progressive, elevated template for design. An elaborate design more than worthy of the description ‘forward thinking’, the Qasa High is on one Y-3’s best loved designs that plays with proportion and appropriating of a variety of traditional performance detailing. Constructed with a full neoprene uppers and leather detailing, the ‘Triple Black’ sits on top of a built up-rubber sole unit in black, whilst the sneaker itself is finished with tonal branding to the rear and a moulded plastic lacing system borrowed from adidas’ classic ZX series.
