Moleskine release a five-piece Limited Edition Notebook Collection marking the 75th anniversary of iconic jazz record label Blue Note Records. Each of the notebooks has a cover that draws on the distinctive graphic style of Blue Note Record album covers and posters and focuses on an American jazz musician. These will be saxophonist Dexter Gordon, drummer Art Blakey, trumpeter Freddie Hubbard, guitarist Kenny Burrell and pianist Thelonious Monk. Working in partnership with Blue Note Records, Moleskin have produced a limited run of these notebooks containing fascinating music reviews, photographs printed on the inside cover, and a history of the record company. The Dexter Gordon notebook is the the first released and is avaible now exclusively online store and Moleskine shops. The other notebooks will be available in late summer.
