Warp has announced the release of Foam Island, Darkstar third album, scheduled on September 25. The album interweaves contemporary pop-electronics and powerful statements about society and hope the next century. To celebrate this announcement the duo offers a first single from the album, “Secure Pin”. This title is a mutation of R & B Neptunes way, way Darkstar filtered, treated with the voice of Aiden Whalley perfectly integrated to atmospheric rhythm but direct. The title also echoes the themes throughout the album: political isolation, social disillusionment and personal ambition. Check out below.
