On the occasion of its 125th anniversary, Opinel has left carte blanche to his community to draw the handle of his knife anniversary. From April to May 2015, everyone was able to propose the design of their choice. Twelve designs were selected by the jury submitted for voting for surfers. After 2 weeks of voting, it is the creation of Mathieu Gazaix who wins the contest #opinel125ans. The anniversary knife will be available from October 2015 to 12 500 knifes.
