NAPAPIJRI takes advantage of the 88th edition of Pitti Immagine Uomo fair in Florence to present his new parka: the “Rainforest Luminar” exceptional blend of advanced technology and style. Designed and manufactured in Italy, the parka will be available in limited edition. The exclusive use of a fabric photo luminescent, combined with waterproof and windproof nylon, allows it to be visible in the dark. Stemming from a partnership between NAPAPIJRI and T & C – laboratory specializing in the development of photoluminescent pigment powder – the parka embodies the identity of the Rainforest model in terms of look and performance. The light of the fabric, which appears in black, is obtained by the use of UV resistant crystals associated with an initial glow and to “afterglow”, able to last three days. These pigments offer an experimental aspect to the parka and the use of rare earth minerals, with unique molecular properties, makes the fabric can absorb, store and re-emitting light energy. NAPAPIJRI has managed to develop the concept of a thermal padding edge, combining utility and aesthetics. This gives the garment a modern and sophisticated look. The “Luminar Rainforest” parka will be presented at the Pitti Uomo, from 16 to 19 June at the Gerard Loft – the legendary Florentine store.
