MR PORTER launched three collector edition denims in collaboration with the Levi’s brand. Those Levi’s 501 CT (Customized and Tapered) made in San Francisco are the result of a collaboration between the MR PORTER’s denim buyer, Sam Kershaw, and the Levi’s’s creative team. Each jean needs 72 hours of work and are hand crafted in Eureka, the Levi’s’s innovation laboratory in San Francisco. They are made with a Selvedge denim produced in White Oak, north carolinia, by Cone Mills workshop which work with Levi Strauss & Co. for a century now. Every model will contain an exclusive “Eureka” inscription on the inside of the pocket and an imposing “E” on the buttons’s back. 501 CT may bear wore in regular version (True-to-Size), for a up classical cut and streamlined legs, and slim version (Down-Sized), for a more adjusted cut or with a wide cut (Up-Sized) for a more casual look.
