What? used as question words. As for the third brand we selected Hender Scheme: The term “gender” means social and cultural differences about sex, while “sex” refers to physical and biological differences HenderScheme proposes a concept which surpasses the “gender” schema based on society, but returns to the idea of “sex” based on one’s appearence. It is from this theory that Hender Scheme has manufactured its concept: focus less to social conventions as physical realities of its carriers. For the latest brand we have increased our choices on EFFECTOR: Original Japanese brand established in 2005 by “OPTICAL TAILOR CRADLE” that is an eyewear select shop of Japan. Their optical eyewear is named after beat junkies and aural exciters, aka EFFECTOR. ‘Based on the concept “Rock On The Eyewear”, the solid, sturdy, and masculine forms is what makes our eyewear distinctive. Taking traditional frame designs and adding our unique Tokyo flavour along with employing Japanese craftsmanship based in Sabae city in Fukui prefecture, we are able to maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail that is the “Made in Japan – Rock On The Eyewear” philosophy. The original concept based on inspirations from rock culture with its iconic status, along with our love for the beatnik movement has motivated us to produce a series of eyewear appreciated by designers and artists alike. 2015 collection retains the influence of rock culture, but also the American beatnik movement of the 50s.
