DE PARIS project aims to promote and highlight the city of Paris and its area through skateboard culture. Its vocation is to present to a large audience the skate’s rampant universe by paying tribute to its protagonists and their specific lifestyle. With a unique environment way more complex to decode and assimilate than any other sport discipline, skateboard is a clever blend of adrenaline, creativity and passion, which intense and hard to capture life instants. Today, DE PARIS offers through a book made of unique and amazing pictures a chance to dive into this extreme and fascinating universe. Through photographes’s eyes, DE PARIS Yearbook 2014 wants to be the modern anthropologist of a social and cultural group wish has never stopped to intrigue cinema, photography or fashion. With this second edition, this photo book still explores and captures the news of this discipline and its symbosis with Paris. DE PARIS Yearbook is now a contemporary almanac proposing to the world to follow with realism the skateboard evolution through time. To celebrate the release of this second book, a photo exhibition will take place at Oppidum – 30, rue de Picardie, Paris 75003 – from the 8th to the 12th of April.
