Fred Perry launched his new collection in collaboration with the British designer Nigel Cabourn for Spring/Summer 2015. Authenticity and manufacturing made in UK are in the spotlight for a revival inspired 1950 to 1970. This collaboration was born from a mutual love for table tennis: you must know that Fred Perry was the first world champion in the discipline in 1929 before continuing his athletic career in tennis … and Nigel admits also be a great fan of the sport. The silhouettes of the line are inspired looks worn by Fred Perry and English-Hungarian Victor Barna four times world champion table tennis and winner of 40 medals from 1929 to 1954. The jackets are the key-pieces of this collection. From Sports Blazer to Cameraman Wincheater Bomber, the line is made entirely at the Mackintosh factory in Nelson, Lancashire. This collection Fred Perry x Nigel Cabourn is available in Fred Perry shops and online.
