For the Spring / Summer 2015, WRUNG launches its first line of sneakers: Destro. The desire to create a shoe is long overdue at the French streetwear brand … And obviously, for 20th anniversary of WRUNG, the opportunity was ideal.
For the creative director, the sneaker Destro he imagined and realized, represents «20 years and running»; «Our independence, our life, our passion and perseverance,» says the creator.
The choice of a classic design, simple and timeless imposed itself of himself, but embellished with small details that make the difference, solid materials, aesthetic and classic. The Destro is thus «a sneaker that symbolizes a lifestyle rather than a technical or athletic performance because Wrung is not a sports brand and not trying to be.» Models always reflect the state of artistic spirit of the brand, with a simple design that plays – as can be seen in graffiti or more generally in art – on interior or exterior designs for the bold . Again, WRUNG reveals its own character, pushes the limits of what can be done, and continues to be especially where it is least expected; and has been for 20 years.
