Known for his love of all things Americana and revered for his unparalleled workwear-infused designs, visvim founder Hiroki Nakamura presents his collection for the Spring/Summer 2015 season.Digesting a plethora of influences through a passion for traveling and subversive cultures, Nakamura’s collections combine robust silhouettes, intricately crafted details and a thorough dose of character leading to a real clamour for visvim season upon season, as well as a unique cult following. Applying his unique patina-tinged aesthetic to a broad selection of garments, the Japanese designer serves us an opus that ranges from casual military-inspired jackets, such as the Asche Jacket in khaki and camo, to bona fide visvim staples like the ever-popular Social Sculpture 101 Jacket takes style cues from the infamous Levi’s Type II Denim Jacket. The collection, dubbed ‘A Dissertation on Product Individuality’, is bookended by the brand’s highly revered footwear collection which sees sturdy, well constructed shoes and boots given the Nakamura treatment by way of luxury materials such as cowhide, rugged suede and high shine calf leather. The collection is available online at END Clothing.
