ASICS has teamed up with the Barcelona shop LimitEDitions to create a new Gel-Lyte V model inspired by Salvador Dali. Colors used on those sneakers are inspired by Dali’s style and Catalonia landscape. The dark brown on the SurrEDaliste is enhanced by the use of nubuck, suede and velvet, whereas white and blue touch refer to the sky and sea fusion, and the intense orange to Cadaqués rocks. An allusion to the use of insects in Dali’s work is also made with a fly embroidered on one of the shoes whereas the other has an ant. ASICS x LimitEDitions Gel Lyte V “SurrEDaliste” is available at colette, Rice and Beans, BlackRainbow and Le Rayons Frais.
