With a soundtrack by the band Mystère created especially for the show, Saint Laurent celebrates again youth, music and Paris. It’s with a certain nostalgia perhaps, that we’re almost tempted to think of the couple Serge Gainsbourg/Jane Birkin at the start of their romance. Maybe it’s because of the beret, worn in several masculine and feminine silhouettes. The slim line is still the look, worn in a range of short jackets as bikers, khaki bombers, black or white blazers, puffa jackets, huge capes, zebra printed, sparkly, and silver jackets, and even a dazzling pink coat…The propositions are still in abundance and just as attractive. Finally everyone can find their style. Hedi Slimane, head of design, has understood that by multiplying what is available and offering very detailed looks, at the same time paying homage to this young arty, stylish people. To note: the polka dot or printed shirts, worn with skinny ties and of course accessories.
