A mystical and poetic decor for the new Givenchy collection. An erected marquee in the grounds of the Invalides, a floor covered in red sequins, with a decor of poetic accumulations is where Riccardo Tisci presented his menswear line for the Givenchy house. The designer revisits the traditional suit, livened up/renewed with a skirt buttoned to the waist, appearing in leitmotiv and in abundance, with pinstripes or in black with red braiding. A great power exudes from these tapered silhouettes. The wet look and plaited hair, a face covered in sequins, the male and female models walk with a firm stride. Kilim carpet designs cover the catwalk and are found on a number of suits. We find all the basics of the masculine wardrobe but restyled by the designer. The final is rich in embroidery for the suits with a couture spirit.
