Chic tailoring, military suits and sportswear define the new wardrobe at Alexander McQueen. The English fashion house always offers an alternative universe, by putting on the menswear collection show in an abandoned warehouse but also by offering distinctive silhouettes, in a new elegance. The trousers were worn loosely and were calf length, whereas the jacket is worn cropped or become a redingote. Words such as “Honour”, “Truth”, and “Valour” were printed across several pieces, whilst florals were designed in the shape of a cross on a jacket or the hems of trousers. Burgundy and blue were the stand out colours. To note: a touch of chic velour for the evening, or if you prefer jewelled embroidery or shiny stars on the black suits.
