After collaborations with Art Come First, atmos, Wish, Sneaker Freaker, Overkill or recently with Ronnie Fieg, PONY (Product Of New York) continues its partnership in 2015 with Leaders1354. Chicago based shop has created its own version of the of the famed PONY Slam Dunk silhouette. This version is inspired by Leaders1354 city. The quilting on the upper is a play on the unpredictable weather patterns that we as Chicagoans are forced to get used to, the red of the laces and the suede on the toe box is a nod to Chicago’s color way. The lace lock is a representation of the city’s famed four star flag, while the 1354 that runs along the heel is a tribute to original Leaders1354 address at 1354 E. 53rd in Hyde Park. This Leaders1354 x PONY Slam Dunk will be available exclusively at Leaders1354, from January 1st 2015.
