For Winter 2014 Rossignol launches its first “après-ski chic.” Central Research and Brand Development, located in Montebelluna in Italy was tasked to develop an after-ski ideal for walking on ice and snow. He had to meet the same technical requirements as a ski boot with the comfort of a slipper and the aesthetics of a town shoe. Under its elegant appearance hides a true concentration of technology: waterproof leather lined with a breathable membrane, traditional mountain boot lacing and zip side, built-in insole system inspired reflexology, foot relaxes and stimulates blood circulation, the outsole, profiled as a ski, consisting of ultra-resistant rubber and glass fiber, to hang on ice. The design of the locking acts as a snowplow, to avoid accumulation, source of slipping.
