Obey Clothing has its roots in urban culture, art and music. For Fall / Winter 2014 season, the brand supports Adam Yauch foundation through the OBEY AWARENESS project with a series of t-shirts Obey collectors with the effigy of the legendary group Beastie Boys. According to Shepard Fairey “Music is one of the strongest and creative ways” to send a message. Adam Yauch foundation was created by the family and friends of the musician to support the causes that had heart and honor his life trying to help the lives of others. The funds raised will go to benefit charities responsible for educating young people through music.
