To celebrate 50 years of twinning between the two cities, BDX-LAX Faraway So Close # 3 cultural bridge between Bordeaux and Los Angeles will kick off a series of artistic and cultural events on Bordeaux from June 13 to July 13, 2014. cultural project BDX-LAX Faraway So Close, driven by FLASH’Association, aims to link, support, promote Bordeaux contemporary creation and facilitate artistic exchanges and collaborations between the cities of Bordeaux and Los Angeles (twin cities since 1964). Program: exhibition, conference, digital experience, workshops and kids happening around urban art and pop culture. Californian brand, Volcom,  is a partner in this 2014 edition, with the support of the global art project and propose two workshops. More info on DX-LAX Faraway So Close.
