Continuing their collaboration on art and fashion, GAP and New York-based luxury art and fashion publication Visionaire launch their second collection of 11 t-shirts in limited edition. It celebrates the color using UV sensitive inks, embroidery, metal foils, screen printing and photographic printing. 7 of this t-shirts use a special UV-sensitive ink, originally developed and published in the Visionaire # 56 “SOLAR”. Presenting the works of Alex Katz, Yoko Ono, Richard Phillips, Ugo Rondinone, Peter Lindbergh, François Berthoud and Roe Ethridge, these t-shirts when exposed to direct sunlight, the black-and-white prints turn to color. 3 other t-shirts printed with photographs of Mario Sorrenti, Marc Quinn and Tony Oursler complete this line. Finally, following the great success of the previous collaboration, the 11th t-shirt is a reedition of “Love Grow with Me” tee by Yoko Ono, imagined this time in a gold leaf version and white background. Available from May 9 only to 500 pieces, each t-shirt will be available in key global GAP flagship stores (GAP Boxpark in London, GAP White Space in Tokyo and GAP White Space in New York) as well as Visionaire retailers.
