This March, G-Star RAW will present their Denim Cruiser as part of Selfridges’ ‘Board Games’ SS14 Campaign. The limited-edition skateboard joins the store’s celebration of the extensive influence of board sports on fashion. The Denim Cruiser is made from 21 layers of epoxy hardened G-Star selvedge denim – a fabric carefully woven on vintage shuttle looms. The board is hand shaped, sanded and finished, complete with custom laser-patterned grip tape, and a hand-printed underside graphic. Copper-bathed hardware accents the Cruiser, including classic Tracker 85 Darts trucks, and a G-Star logo at the tail. The exclusive G-Star RAW Denim Cruiser will be on exhibition and available for sale at Selfridges ‘The Board Room’, The Concept Store on G at Selfridges London, in March 2014.
