For Spring Summer 2014 the Amsterdam Shoe Company launches a new line of sneakers referred to as Formal Athletics consisting of four all new styles based on shoe silhouettes. The styles are derived from a slipper, a derby, a saddle shoe and a brogue boot. With tweaked proportions, leathers with more casual colors and treatments and added features such as handstitching, wrap-around quarters and lasercut details they are reinterpreted as sneakers. The materials used for Spring Summer 2014 range from premium suede and pull up to nubuck and tumbled nubuck. This collection is available now at retailers and ASC online shop.
