Many first met Naco Paris, when he went abuzz with his “Karl Who” hand-painted bag, while thumbing his nose at the Fashion star system. Since then, his brand universe has grown and his creations are praised notably in Japan and Europe. At the Paris Fashion Week that just ended, Naco Paris surprised us (and himself) with an unusual Fall/Winter 2014-15 unisex collection. We find again his hand-painted style (he paints on his pieces, as if they were canvas), and we discover for the very first time elements that one wouldn’t usually associate to his underground approach. True to his rebel nature, Naco ventures himself with new patterns such as XL polka dots, black sequins, animal prints, burgundy color… whilst keeping large, comfortable shapes, that characterize his chic-sportwear style. Overall, it’s the perfect definition for Naco’s attractive new collective SUPER COOL.
