On January Thursday 30, a quite private event took place for photography lovers. Like almost every year, The Pirelli Calendar gathers the best worldwide photographers to create a timeless and unique piece of art. For its 50th anniversary, Pirelli surprised everybody by not publishing the scheduled pictures, but unreleased photographies from no other than Helmut Newton, taken in 1986. These pictures also striked people’s eyes as they are the first in The Cal history to present the tire universe, in the master’s work. Speechless.
