Legendary denim brand Wrangler cooperates with motor sport-specialist Alpinestars and presents the limited Autumn/Winter 2013 collection “Wrangler powered by Alpinestars”. Ambassador of the premium initiative is Formula 1 driver and former world champion Kimi Räikkönen. The limited collection includes 80 black denim jeans and 65 black leather racing jackets each individually numbered. The jeans combine the Wrangler style with the technology of Alpinestars by strengthening the hips, knees and seat of the jeans with Kelvar, which is used to protect against abrasion and cracks. The jacket profits from Wrangler’s vintage-finishes and is equipped with BioArmor, a special polymer- rubber compound which works as crash protection. Both styles are co-branded and will be offered with co-branded packaging. This collection will be available at seven selected premium lifestyle stores in Europe, including Solo in Sweden, Spmrkt in Amsterdam and Menlook.
