TWOTHIRDS brand was created in 2010 in Donostia – San Sebastian, in the Spanish Basque country. The creators are surfers. These fans have develop an environmentally friendly brand and strongly inspired by the ocean. The name “TWO-THIRDS” refers to the ocean, which covers two thirds of the planet. TWOTHIRDS offers ready-to-wear and accessories for men. The San Sebastian-based label has collaborated with the famous Norman brand, St. James, on an interpretation of the famous striped breton shirt. Made with 100% recycled cotton, the TWOTHIRDS x Saint James shirt is now available via TWOTHIRDS eshop and at colette. This collaboration is highlighted in a short film entitled “Une Histoire d’Eau – Made in France” by Jonas Lindstroem, a trip from St. James to San Sebastian and starring the photographer Cédric Bihr, the artist/designer Emil Kozak and a founder of TWOTHIRDS, Lutz Schwenke.
