Tumi is launching a limited edition of his backpack Alpha T-Pass, in collaboration with the famous American DJ Vice. Japan, Europe, Los Angeles, New York … and then back home to Las Vegas DJ Vice is always on the move in the trendiest places in the world. Spinning directly from the airport to the club, the Dj needed a backpack that is not only functional but also has style. To fill their expectations, Tumi and DJ Vice have chosen the backpack Alpha TPass to reinterpret it specifically for DJs. And this backpack Tumi x DJ Vice is a perfect demonstration. First preoccupation for the Dj: to find what he wants in his bag when he is necessarily in the dark when working in a club. Tumi and Vice have therefore devised an interior equipped with a LED lighting system. Through an integrated remote control, the bag is illuminated with electric green – DJ Vice color signature. The electro detail: LED light could be choose from two flashing speed or continuously. He also had a bag that is able to adapt to the business class cabins of the aircraft, sometimes narrow: a “compact baggage” option has been specially designed: simply detach the backpack this ultra slim to the rear of the bag, with a zip. For all its equipment, DJ Vice needed a number of pockets and small pockets side pockets accommodate cables and USB, gaffer tape rolls and a GoPro camera, the “nugget” of this bag as Vice is its main pocket, designed to accommodate all the necessary DJ moving: two pairs of headphones to the box cells through magazines and a sweatshirt. In tribute to the largest airliner in the world, the Airbus A380, only 380 pieces of this Tumi x DJ Vice limited edition bag will be produced worldwide and will be available from July 17, 2013 at Tumi stores and Tumi.com, priced at € 495.
