Parisian historic boutique of Dr. Martens just re-open … The atmosphere of the shop is like the new codes of the brand. Spread over two levels, the shop is largely influenced by the architecture and British culture, design is a mix of vintage floors, brick walls, leather sofas clubs, permanent photo-cabin, jukebox and dimmed lights, all declined in tones of Dr. Martens collection. Backlit wall niches highlighting the key models of the current season and the famous line Crafted 100% Made In England, made in the historic factory brand in Northamptonshire. DR. Martens support the local art scene and involved street artist Christian Guémy aka C215 to realize a mural on the ground floor of the store, a tribute to Les Halles, the center of the street and punk culture of the capital. You can find the Spring/Summer 2013 collection and for the first time the clothing line and accessories alongside the “classics” of the British brand, such as 1460 8-eye boots and its many variations. Check out the photos of the opening party of the new Dr. Martens store in the gallery.
