For the Miss Kō restaurant, which opened in February 2013 at 49 avenue George V in Paris, the Label Dalbin, in association with Difip, collaborated with Philippe Starck to realize his hybrid furniture concept – two bars integrating 25 synchronized screens. Label Dalbin produced tailor-made video installation: a dragon animation created by Swiss artist François Chalet that moves from one screen to another over the whole table, superimposed over a mosaic of Asian television news broadcasts imagined by Starck. The effect is spectacular. Difip designed and implemented the technological solution for the 25 NEC screens integrated in the two bars. Apple computers pilot the multi-screen broadcast using software developed by Difip. Miss Kō is the first restaurant designated by Philippe Starck to host this innovative installation, which also allows for the screening of individualized content for private events.
