For Spring 2013 print “camo” is featured at Ben Sherman. Inspired by the 30s UK utilitarian workwear, these prints bring a fresh approach to the traditional printing techniques, the khakis and brown industrial mix various shades of blue to form a combination approaching the famous “camouflage”. The traditional printing technique “IKAT” unveiled in this line is a unique process of dyeing and weaving from Indonesia. These fabrics have been made by a family of artisans in India exclusively for Plectrum Spring 2013 collection. This mix both intriguing and innovative can be found on various parts of the collection: four pockets jacket, reversible parka or t-shirts, shirts and polos.
