Y-3 teamed up with the Japanese denim brand Warehouse Denim – House Founded by brothers Kenichi Kenji Shiotani and in 1995 – to present us a Spring/Summer 2013 collection combining the inspiration of Y-3 and Warehouse´s technique and weaving qualities. The result of this collaboration is an exclusive capsule collection : NICE TO MEET YOU, with three distinct men’s pant styles in indigo blue: Basic Denim – straight leg and 5-pocket style, Denim Drop – voluminous style, low cut crutch, and “cotton selvage denim”, Denim Statement – The feather print of Mr. Hayashi, the Imperial designer of Japanese print, can be found in this style. A strip of denim was cut, the packing and threaded frame were removed and reworked in a separate material. All three models are available at Y-3 stores, Y-3 online shop and some retailers around the world from mid-January 2013.
