For autumn/winter 2012 Paul Smith was invited to collaborate with American New Wave band Talking Heads on a capsule collection of T-shirts. Paul was given very rare access to David Byrne’s Talking Heads archive in New York, pieces from which inspired the artwork for the collection.

‘Music is a big part of my life and I have always enjoyed collaborating with musicians,’ says Paul. ‘I’m a big fan of Talking Heads so to be given access to their archive was a real privilege for me.’
