The link between Persol and Cinema has always been very strong. Craftmanship of 30 stories in the film “is the second in a series of three exhibitions dedicated to the seventh art and celebrating 30 stories of obsessive artistic know-how, these iconic moments behind cinema. For the 2012 edition, Persol has highlighted the work of Vittorio Storaro, cinematographer, in “The Last Emperor” by Bernardo Bertolucci, the details of staging Hitchcock for “North by Northwest,” the working behind the incarnation of the character of Ed Harris in “Pollock” or the costumes created by Arianne Philips to Madonna’s “WE” .
