Beaterator a été créé en 2005 comme une application Flash pour le site Rockstar Games. Les nouvelles versions pour PSP et  PSN proposeront des milliers de boucles et sons crées par Timbaland et Rockstar. Sortie aux US le 29 septembre et le 2 octobre en Europe, ainsi qu’une version pour l’iPhone/iPod Touch à l’automne.

Beaterator was originally created in 2005 as a Flash application on the Rockstar Games website. The new PSP and PSN versions feature thousands of loops and sounds made by both Timbaland and Rockstar. Rockstar Games has announced a September 29 and October 2 release date in North America and Europe – and for the iPhone and iPod Touch this Fall.
