Andrew Bush est né à Saint-Louis (Etats-Unis) et a reçu sa Maîtrise en photographie à l’Université de Yale en 1982. Bush travaille par séries ses différents projets tels que le « Vector Portraits », « Envelopes » « Short Snorters » et, plus récemment, »Prop Portraits ». Son travail a fait partie de nombreuses expositions, notamment au Metropolitan Museum of Art, au Museum of Modern Art, au George Eastman House à Rochester et au Victoria and Albert Museum à Londres. Andrew Bush was born in Saint Louis and after attending Pomona College he received his Masters degree in Photography at Yale University. He has lived in Los Angeles for almost twenty years, and has exhibited with Julie Saul Gallery since 1984. Bush works intensively on very distinct serial projects such as the « Vector Portraits », « Envelopes » « Short Snorters » and most recently the « Prop Portraits ». His work is included in numerous public collections including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art, the George Eastman House in Rochester, and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
